Photography That Feels Natural

A Kerala wedding is a morning wedding. The muhurtham falls early, the ceremony itself is short, and there are far fewer rituals than at a North Indian wedding. That sounds easier. It isn't — a shorter ceremony means there is no second chance at anything, and no long afternoon to recover a frame you missed.

So we staff the morning properly: a candid photographer, a traditional photographer, a videographer, a cinematographer and drone. Your family wants the portrait everyone is looking at the camera for. You want the frame nobody noticed being taken. Those are two different jobs, and one camera does them badly.

Where we’ve worked in Kannur

Payyambalam Beach, Bekal Fort, Mascot Beach Resort and Malabar Residency, among others — alongside a great many home weddings, which in North Malabar are often the ones with the most life in them.

What complicates a Kannur morning

The muhurtham rush. Auspicious dates cluster, so several families are often marrying the same morning at the same temple or hall, and the space turns over quickly. We plan for a compressed timeline and limited access rather than assuming the venue is ours.

The monsoon. For a good part of the year the weather decides your outdoor plans. We shoot through it — a lighting plan for a dark hall, and an alternative for every outdoor sequence, so rain changes the photographs instead of cancelling them.

Questions couples ask us

Do you only shoot destination weddings?

No. A good share of our Kannur work is home weddings and local venue weddings.

Are you okay with home weddings?

Yes, and they’re some of our favourite work. A house on the morning of a wedding holds more than any hall does.

Can you cover multi-day, multi-location weddings?

Yes. Our team of 24 lets us run parallel coverage when events overlap or move between towns.

Do you travel for pre-wedding shoots?

Yes.

What does it cost?

We don’t publish fixed packages — a one-day home wedding and a three-day multi-location wedding aren’t the same job. Tell us your dates, the venue and roughly the coverage you have in mind, and we’ll quote for that.
