The biggest of all the wedding venues in Calicut, by a distance.
- Spaces: AC hall about 1,000 seated (1,500 floating), non-AC hall about 2,000 seated (3,000 floating), riverside open lawn of roughly 50,000 sq ft
- Parking: around 600 cars and 1,000 bikes, with valet
- Rooms: none. Two AC green rooms only
- Rental: listings show Rs 50,000 to Rs 60,000 per day
- Payment: usually half on booking, half on the date, with no refund on cancellation
- Distance: about 2 km from Feroke station, 16 km from the airport
Before you book: The approach road near the old bridge is in poor shape and traffic builds up. Ask guests to arrive in batches.
3. K-Hills (Klay Hills Resorts and Spa), Farook College
Built inside a converted clay tile factory, so you get heritage character with proper pillarless halls.

4. Gokulam Grand, Mavoor Road
The convenience pick among the in-city wedding venues in Calicut. It sits at Arayidathupalam, attached to Gokulam Galleria mall, about 2 km from the railway station, so guests without transport can walk in.
- Spaces: banquet and conference spaces across four floors including a boardroom, with lift access throughout
- Rooms: 54, plus a rooftop pool
- Catering: in-house, with a bar
- Weather: everything is indoors, so rain is never a risk and the light stays consistent all day
- Rating: the highest of the seven at 4.7 on Google from about 888 reviews, and ranked number one in Kozhikode on Tripadvisor
Before you book: Hall names, seating capacity and per-plate rates are not published anywhere, so call and get them in writing. Mall traffic can block the entry at peak hours, so ask about valet support.
5. KPM Tripenta, Mini Bypass Road
A hotel with three halls and enough rooms that a good part of your guest list stays in the building.
- Spaces: Sapphire 400 seated / 500 floating (AC, second floor with lift), Diamond 200 seated / 250 floating, Ruby 50 seated / 75 floating
- Rooms: around 70
- Per plate: approximately Rs 885 to Rs 1,000

- Vendors: catering is in-house only, so a family caterer is not an option. Outside decorators and DJs are allowed
- Payment: usually 25 per cent on booking and 75 per cent on the date, with a refund if you cancel at least a week ahead

Before you book: The property is a few years old now and some reviewers find the rooms dated. Look at the exact rooms you are blocking, not just the photos.
6. Staydium Bungalow Resort, Bilathikulam
A restored 100-year-old bungalow with a landscaped lawn that takes up to 400 guests, about 3.5 km from the city centre. Very few wedding venues in Calicut are still outdoors and still inside town, which is why this one books out fast for engagements, haldi and mehendi.

Note on capacity: Some listing sites claim up to 400 guests. The physical description does not support that. Verify the actual number before you finalise your guest list.

Ask to see the venue fire NOC and occupancy certificate. Check the marked exits and extinguishers, and make sure any temporary pandal or decor is fire-safe.
